THE CUSTOMER

Client is a global company requiring data center colocation and connectivity services.

THE CHALLENGE

Client needed to streamline its distributed network which spanned different data centers and improve its device management visibility. Additionally, the client needed improvement around rack occupation, available capacity and redundancy.

THE SOLUTION

Our client needed a solution that would mitigate legacy issues and lay a long-term foundation for its digital transformation.

DIN was contracted to augment a full-scale move-in assisted cage operation setup. Our onsite team worked for several weeks through various phases to install multiple racks of hardware, SFPs, expansion modules, switches, firewalls and storage devices comprising hundreds of cables across two data center locations.

We worked collectively with a large-scale team of engineers and project managers on device implementation strategy, cable management, and device testing.

THE RESULT

The customer viewed DIN's on-demand participation as critical to meeting the deadlines on this order as a complete success.

Equipment was brought online with minimal delays or setbacks. All equipment was labeled with serial numbers and host names. The test out was successful for all system core and edge devices.

Our client's IT footprint will now operate at a higher rate of efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, device auditing and system redundancies will have total visibility, providing for client and partner to consume data on demand from anywhere in the world. DIN is thankful to ServerFarm for trusting our participation on such an important project.
